I have a question for libraries using EBSCO AtoZ, regarding the overlap analysis feature in the admin site.

If you run an overlap analysis of "My Potential Collection," then download it, does the report reflect what displays on your monitor (in the admin site) or does it download something much larger and not at all related to what you asked for (your current collection)?

For about 6 months (maybe more), when I perform an overlap analysis of "My Potential Collection" the analysis runs and reports the overlap exactly as it should, but when I download the result, I get an overlap analysis of my ENTIRE current collection.

I've contacted EBSCO to report this, with a handful of follow ups. I'm told that the issue is under investigation. Like I said, this has been going on for at least six months now.

EBSCO will run the report I need if I ask, but then it takes a solid day or two to get the analysis back. More often than not, I want it now. (!!)

It's highly frustrating--one of the features I liked about the EBSCO product was that I could run a report quickly, then download it and send it off to whoever requests it--usually a department head or our director. This is very close to the point of being a deal breaker when we are asked to renew our subscription later this year.

Thank you!!!
