A colleague and I are examining the perpetual access clauses in our major licensed journal packages. We’ve found several publishers that address the perpetual access issue by providing  an electronic copy of the previously subscribed content for the library to host on its own server.

We’d like to know if there are any libraries that have done this.  Also, if you’re a member of LOCKSS, have you had occasion to activate previously subscribed content preserved in LOCKSS?

Do you have any workflows in place for maintaining perpetual access?

Thanks in advance. You may reply off list. I will compile responses if there is any interest.
