Hello -

I received 5 responses to my query about keepng OCLC up to date with journal holdings.   Most are using OCLC's Connexion web access to manually update holdings.  One college is using OCLC eSerials Holdings Service from Serials Solutions.

I think we are moving toward going back to manually updating our individual subscriptions through Connexion, but using OCLC Knowledge base to keep track of our package and aggregator holdings.

Thanks to everyone for their responses!

How do you all update your local holdings for periodicals (print, electronic, and in aggregator databases) in OCLC?

We have been batch loading these data for many years, but as we no longer catalog all our electronic access to journals, it has become more complicated to communicate our holdings for use in interlibrary loan transactions.

I'd be most appreciative to hear about how other libraries are grappling with this issue.

Thanks,
Jen Holman
