The ALCTS CRS Continuing Resources Cataloging Committee (CRCC) invites all catalogers & serialists to a Forum at ALA Annual in Chicago, IL on Monday, July 1, in McCormick Place Convention Center, N139, from 1:30-3:30pm
There will be brief updates from representatives of the ISSN Center, the Library of Congress and CONSER Program, and CC:DA.
The rest of our Forum will focus on aspects of RDA and serials:
Becky Culbertson, Electronic Resources Cataloging Librarian, California Digital Library, will be discussing the RDA Provider Neutral Record Guidelines.
Regina Romano Reynolds, Director of the U.S. ISSN Center and Head of the ISSN Section at the Library of Congress will be discussing areas where ISSN, RDA, and ISBD are not in harmonization.
Shana McDanold, Head, Metadata Services Unit, Georgetown University, will be speaking on the topic of RDA and its impact on serials cataloging.
