These standards are for the birds!! What’s with the one letter abbreviations that are only used in the library world?? Great for the common man to understand and what’s with putting the volume before the year? Every filing practice puts brackets and numbers before letters…..

What format does everyone use to list their volume and issue in the catalog?

Example: v.21(3) (1994) - v.27(6) (1998)

Do you say "no." for the issue number?
