Are you a Technical Services librarian at a public library who is interested in promoting communication between Public Services and Technical Services staff?  Are you planning to attend ALAL Annual 2016 in Orlando?  If so, please consider serving as a panelist for our ALA Annual 2016 program, titled “Let's Play Family Feud: A Public Services/Technical Services Dialogue.”

Program Description:

Sometimes communicating at work can be challenging, especially between the two “families” of Technical Services and Public Services. This program will examine those challenges, "Family Feud" style. Technical Services and Public Services panelists will reveal the most popular responses to continuing resourcesrelated “Family Feud” questions. Following the game, each panelist will discuss in greater detail the topic of each round, and we’ll end with discussion about communication and continuing resources best practices.

Where: TBD, ALA Annual in Orlando, FL

When: To be confirmed; our time slot preference is currently Sunday 1:00-2:30pm, but this is subject to change.

Please contact Rebecca Kemp Goldfinger by FEBRUARY 8, 2016 if you are interested in serving as a panelist or for more information:
