Here’s the second winter-issue anomaly:
Women Studies Abstracts published four issues with the same calendar year for many volumes through v. 42 (2013). The next two volumes were: v. 43: nos. 1-3 (Spring-Fall 2014), no. 4 (Winter 2015) and v. 44: nos. 1-4 (Spring-Winter 2015).
Yes, that means no Winter 2014 and two different Winter 2015 issues. Current volume is v. 45: nos. 1-3 (Spring-Fall 2016), no. 4 (Winter 2017). A call to them verified that is is not a printing error. Don’t know about future volumes. We’ll just keep guessing!
