UKSG is delighted to announce the appointment of Bev Acreman as its new permanent Executive Director. Bev stepped in as Interim Executive Director in November 2017.
UKSG Chair, Andrew Barker commented: “We are delighted to welcome Bev as our permanent Executive Director. Bev has made a huge contribution to UKSG over the years, and her impact has been significant. Bev has introduced new initiatives and ideas, and all
of us involved with UKSG look forward to working with her to further enhance the role that UKSG plays within the scholarly communications community”.
Bev Acreman, UKSG Executive Director added: “UKSG has played such an important role in my career, providing me with opportunities, education and,
importantly, mentors and I want to make sure that it continues to do that for all members of our community. I’m excited by the changes we have made and plan to make in the future, and I would like to thank the dedicated staff here for all of their support
and hard work over the last two years”.
