The UTC Library seeks a non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Practice who is a motivated, creative and user-focused professional to fill our Collection Services and Metadata Librarian position at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (UTC). Reporting to the Head of Collection Services and working closely with the Director of Special Collections and colleagues in Public Services and Library Information Technology, the Collection Services and Metadata Librarian’s core position responsibilities fall into two areas: cataloging/metadata and discovery and coordination of collection services operations. Primarily, the Collections Services and Metadata Librarian is responsible for coordinating content management, cataloging, authority control, and metadata of the Library's electronic, digital, and print collections to enhance discovery and improve access. This position will also coordinate the work of two full time library staff members whose positions relate to acquisitions, course reserves, and stacks maintenance. 

The minimum annual salary is $48,000, commensurate with experience.
