This is being sent to other lists.  Please excuse duplication.

In order to prepare for the negotiations for collective bargaining for
the
next contract, we would like to gather data on what benefits other
academic
librarians are receiving.  Since we are trying to meet a deadline, we
would
appreciate it if you would please respond to the following questions as
soon
as possible.

Please send responses directly to me Rai@ccsu.edu and I will summarize
for
the list.

        1.      Are you required to work 12 months a year? 10 months a
year?
180 days a year? Other (please specify)?

        2.      If you work during the summer, do you receive additional
salary?

        3.      How many vacation days do you get per year?

        4.      How many professional development days, if any, do you
get
per year?

        5.      Are librarians unionized at your library? If so, what is
the
name of your union?
