October 9, 2000 was V. 142:8.  I will certainly agree that some publishers
don't know what a 'schedule' is...they sort of make them up as they go

I took this as being misnumbered.  It should have been numbered October
16, 2000 as 142:8 and October 30, 2000 as 142:9.  I hope this helps.

We did not receive Oct. 9 as v. 142:8 either.  After reviewing records in
our consortium, I found that some members had received this particular issue
and some had not.  One member confirmed Oct. 9 as v. 142:8; Fall 2000
Special Issue; The Future of the Internet.
