Nathalie:
   I utilize JAKE
http://jake.med.yale.edu/
to determine if a title is available online, is full-text, etc.
Once we find out the vendor, we can see if it is available through
our aggregator (Ebsco) or if we need to contact them directly.

Subject: Ejournal databases

Dear Serialst colleagues,

I am interested in corresponding off list with any libraries which have
developed a database to help manage their electronic journal collections.
I am primarily interested in databases which help with functions such as
acquisitions, cataloguing, collection development and rights management
(as opposed to databases which exist solely to provide public access). I
am writing a paper on the future of electronic journal databases for the
Acquisitions Institute at Timberline Lodge in May and am interested in
others thoughts and experiences.

At Griffith University Library we have developed a database (the ERD -
Electronic Resources Database) for use within Technical Services - I am
happy to provide further details to any who are interested.

Regards,

Nathalie
