NOW AVAILABLE: ONLINE PURCHASES OF SINGLE ARTICLES and SUBSCRIPTIONS

Cambridge University Press is pleased to announce a new feature
available on its Cambridge Journals Online (CJO) service. Now
researchers can purchase individual articles and librarians can purchase
new multi-user subscriptions via secure credit card transactions.
Access is immediate in both cases.

We are continuing to work on new help pages and frequently asked
questions (FAQs) to support this new functionality. Please contact me
with any comments or suggestions.

Please note:

1) Article purchasers will have 48 hours in which to download the PDF of
the article. CJO terms of use allow the purchaser to print a single
copy of the article and to save the article file to disk for future
use. Purchasers must be able to read Adobe Acrobat files from Cambridge
Journals Online in order to successfully download; Adobe Acrobat Reader
can be downloaded at no cost, and is available from the Adobe site at
http://www.adobe.com. We recommend using Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 with
Cambridge Journals Online files.

2) Only those Cambridge journals which include online access can be
purchased through Cambridge Journals Online; for subscriptions to those
of our titles still available only in print format, please contact your
subscription agent or Cambridge University Press customer services as
usual.

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS

There are some other improvements to the Cambridge Journals Online
service as well. A new logout button prompts users to close their
browsers and ends a CJO session. All journal list pages now show the
range of volumes and years for which subscriptions are held, in reverse
chronological order (the most recent volume is at the top of the
screen).

Please visit the site at http://journals.cambridge.org for further
details.
