Hi Barb,

I am constantly amazed at the nerve of these people and am not going to
give up on this because I do know there are so many out there that have
numerous issues with them. I know of another person that is going to
send a snail mail to the editor listed in the December 2001 issue and am
going to do the same. They deliberately use forms on their website
and I know the reason they do that is so you don't know where your
comments go. Blind forms are not the way they should be dealing with
customer service problems.

I received another email today from the person that has been
difficult to deal with, indicating that the back issues were available
for $16.75 each plus shipping and handling! I don't think so!
I have yet to tell her I now have people sending me all my missing
issues free of charge! If I hadn't responded to the Serialist
I wouldn't have gotten these issues and I am moved by the generosity
of the list members.

Actually I am enjoying myself at the same time! I have heard from
so many people and am of course a rather an extrovert and its been
nice to see so many supporting me and being able to respond personally to them.

Thank you for your comments and believe me, I will get them 1 way or another!

Janice

I just received a renewal form from HBR (actually from Neodata) that states
in large letters in the lower right hand corner:

"Unconditional Guarantee: If you are ever dissatisfied with Harvard Business
Review for *any* reason, we'll send you a prompt refund, no questions asked."

Interesting, is it not? Perhaps if we ALL asked for our money back HRB would
pay attention to what we've been saying. Too bad this is not feasible.

Go get 'em, Janice! you speak on behalf of many serials people.
