Diane,

I will try to answer your question from a SIRSI stand-point. I was
thrilled like others to see The Christian Century become more regular in
their distribution. To do a pattern set-up for SIRSI, go under Modify a
Serial Control, put in title, select pattern, go down to publication
pattern, and click on the "gadget box" For Christian Century, choose Week,
put 2 in the box, and click on Sunday. When you click OK, you will see
your choices and have the option to go back if you do not like your
results.  Then with a actual copy in hand, ( just to be safe) go into
predictions and put in the information for the actual copy and choose
create predictions.

In general, SIRSI is pretty good with serials. The only problem may be
with custom holdings or patterns, which is where I lack experience.
