I'm hoping others have come across a similiar situation and can provide
guidance to me.

We subscribe to the title Track & field coaches review. The title used
the last two numbers in the year as the volume designation, which we
also used. However, in 1999, the title changed the volume to 72 which is
what the volume would be had the title used a numerical volume
designation from the beginning.

Our problem is that eventually the current numerical voluming will catch
up to the old chronological voluming and we'll have a difficult time
shelving these things. Does anyone else have this problem and what are
you thinking of doing to circumvent the problem?
