Meet the Editors
Elsevier will sponsor an informal session with several editors from library
and information science journals at Midwinter ALA.  Potential authors and
interested librarians are encouraged to stop by the Elsevier booth (#413) on
Sunday, January 26 from 3-4 PM to learn how to become a published author in
these journals.  The following journals plan to have a representative:
Journal of Academic Librarianship, Serials Review, Research Strategies, and
Library Collections, Acquisitions, and Technical Services.  After a brief
presentation on each journal, there will be an informal session with
refreshments.

Stop by the booth and pick up a schedule of the following presentations.
1. Watch demonstrations of Major Reference Works on ScienceDirect.
2. See Chimica, a new bibliographic database from Engineering Information
containing information on chemistry and chemical engineering.
3. Take the Scirus Quiz: show off your searching skills on the Scirus search
engine.
4. Learn  about Library Connect, Elsevier’s outreach program to libraries.
