Re: EBSCO's A-to-Z Journal Service Sandra Thomas 08 Oct 2003 16:48 UTC

I agree with Dana on the pricing structure. That was one of many reasons we
switched from Serials Solution to A to Z. I like the layout of A to Z
better and the drop down menus when searching for specific titles
(especially the "Journal of" titles. I also like the fact that changes and
updates are more real time.

I'd have to disagree. SerialsSolutions couldn't match the price we got from
EBSCO.

SerialsSolutions is a good alternative and their pricing is better.

Hi,

=20

Our library is considering EBSCO's A-to-Z service to manage our
journal
subscriptions. We have approximately 1,200 print titles, but at least
5,000 electronic titles through our databases. Does anyone have any
experience (good or bad) with this service? Or could you recommend
another comparable service for a medium-sized community college
library
journal collection. Of course, money is a big issue. Thanks for your
feedback.

Sincerely,
