Assessment methods of how much Academic libraries spend on programs Beth Burleigh 02 Aug 2005 18:16 UTC

Hi,
Our Acquisitions Dept. is trying to find a model or method that other schools use for assessing how much they spend to support a program. I am particularly interested in the electronic journals and databases. Do others take a percentage of the cost of the database or electronic journals according to the program and come up with a sum? Example would be nursing. What percentage of journals or the database are strictly devoted to nursing? Can these journals or databses can also be used in occuaptional therapy or some thing else? How do you differentiate been the different programs?

Thanks,
Beth Burleigh
