Barbara,

We don't have any Gale databases but for Highwire this is what I have done
in SerialsSolutions. There are two Highwire databases that you may
select: the Highwire Press (Free Journals) includes titles that are
available for free to all. Most of these journals have a 12 or 18 months
moving wall. This database I do not need to worry about since it is
updated by data provided by Highwire to SerialsSolutions.

Under "Highwire Press" I track the journals we have access based on our
subscriptions. Obtaining the dates for the journals you are entitled to
view is not simple since Highwire doesn't provide this data - no way to
download your subscriptions and your entitlements. You may need to log
into your admin profile on each publisher's site (Oxford Univ Press, Sage,
etc) to find out what you are entitled to view. Once you have the dates
for your subscribed journals you can customize these in your
SerialsSolutions profile. You should check the data and the dates
periodically since publishers do change their policy about journal's online
access (for free online with print subs). Also: I have noticed some Sage
promotional titles appearing under institutional subs rather than under
free trials.

Is anyone using other ways to track their journals on Highwire? There may
be better methods than what I have figured out but this method seems to
work for us.
