This announcement is directed to anyone interested in helping the
hurricane impacted libraries in the Gulf states.

PubZilla, a specialized auction site for back volumes/issues of
biomedical serials, in consultation with the National Network of
Libraries of Medicine, Southeastern/Atlantic Region, is offering
unlimited free use of its site for donating journals to hurricane
impacted libraries.

Subject: [SERIALST] Donating bound journals to Hurricane affected
libraries

I've recently started a new job in serials and reference at DeSales
University.

I've discovered that we have several shelves of duplicate journals
(mostly

bound). I would like to offer these issues to any library that may need
them

that has been affected by Hurricane Katrina or Wilma. Has a program
already

started up to offer journals to affected libraries?

Thanks,

Heather
