Re: Computer Graphics. Skwor, Jeanette 17 Feb 2006 15:12 UTC
My experience with this organization is that they really do not care. We had all sorts of problems with receipt of these titles when we first ordered from ACM. When I discovered the switch to online only (because print issues were not arriving, I went to the web also) I called and was Haughtily Informed that the last issue has a letter in it announcing the change. (Yes, Of Course, the state pays me to read all the issues that come through the serials dept. ) And no, of course they are not extending subscription dates. Our subs period on this title is Nov through Oct. We renewed on July 12; the May issue (last published in print, with aforementioned letter inside) arrived here on August 17. Oh well. Time galore to read issues = money galore to throw out, right? Thanks, Jeanette L. Hello, Does anyone have any information on the status of the Association for Computing Machinery publication Computer Graphics? We transferred this to a vendor beginning with 2006, and the vendor has just informed us that this title is now online-only and restricted to a single user. Since I couldn't find it in ACM's list of publications I called them and was told it had "always been" a Springer title and that any questions about it should be directed to Springer. Springer doesn't have any information about the title at all. Thank you very much.
