Hi and good morning to everyone.

We have come across a strange problem.  When we input serials into out
SIRSI system, we use the class scheme of LCPER.  When we try to recall
the title by call number, we can't find it. It can be recalled by title.
Does anyone have experiences like this, and how can we correct it.  Our
cataloger looks things up by call number to make sure there are no
duplicates, this "quirk" is making it hard. Also, in the OPAC we can't
search by call number. I assume this is because of the serial control
record, but maybe not?
