Re: Question Re: BioOne - journal coverage Cahill, Helen 03 Apr 2006 22:42 UTC

Well now, there's a coincidence!

We had also noticed the Jnl of wildlife management hiccup, and decided to wait a bit to see what happens.

Today I've also had a query from a staff member about the Journal of coastal research, issues not being available via the CSA Illumina platform that we use for access.

I too would appreciate any information on the current status of BioOne.

Subject: [SERIALST] Question Re: BioOne - journal coverage

Good afternoon

Our library recently subscribed to the BioOne database and beginning 2006 we
cancelled print subscriptions for titles covered in this database.

I have noticed a couple of titles where recent published issues are not yet available
in the database.

Journal of Wildlife Management - issue three published for 2005 but not in BioOne

Wildlife Society Bulletin - three 2005 issues published but no 2005 issues in BioOne

Wilson Journal of Ornithology (formerly Wilson Bulletin) - first 2006 issue published
but not in BioOne

Have other libraries noticed a delay in the mounting of current issues and have
other libraries cancelled their print subscriptions? We have recently reinstated our
print 2006 print subscription to Journal of Wildlife Mangement and Wildlife Society
Bulletin.

Comments would be appreciated.

Thanks
David J. Weeks
