Elizabethtown College is looking for an energetic Collection Services
Librarian to join our team.

Collection Services Librarian

            The High Library at Elizabethtown College (Elizabethtown,
PA) seeks a Collection Services Librarian to join our team. You will be
responsible for acquisitions and serials, as well as coordinating
collection development, managing the collections budget and overseeing
interlibrary loan. This position is grounded in traditional technical
service values, but also has a strong public service component. You will
plan and teach library instruction sessions, develop Web pages for
several subject areas, and staff the reference desk during regular
shifts (including one evening/week and occasional Sundays). You will
report directly to the College Librarian and work with the Head of
Readers' Services and the Head of Library Database Systems to chart and
implement the library's course. This is a full-time, 12-month position.

            The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in
Library/Information Science or equivalent from ALA-accredited
institution, 2-4 years minimum experience in a professional setting, and
documented supervisory and accounting/budget experience. Demonstrated
ability to analyze and optimize systems, as well as to plan and
implement change are essential, as are excellent oral, written, and
interpersonal communication skills. Experience with SIRSI, ILLiad
library systems and academic library reference and instruction are a
plus.

            Salary range: $38,000-42,000, based on qualifications and
experience.
