We claimed our issue with Ebsco soon after we received no.8, but still have not received no.7. Yesterday, I sent SI the following and received their answer: *********************************** Dear mwallace@holyfamily.edu: Thank you for contacting SPORTS ILLUSTRATED Customer Service. When the subscription order is showing delivery to a library, the swimsuit edition is automatically omitted from the subscription and the subscription is extend by an extra issue. We can lift the omission per request. You can contact us at 1.800.528.5000. We apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate this opportunity to be of service. We have not received the swimsuit issue for this year. There is a lot of email traffic on the List for Serials Librarians about the fact that they have not received that issue and there is a rumor that SI will not send the swimsuit issue to libraries. Can you confirm that rumor? If true, you may encounter problems with censorship and discrimination. Please advise. ******************************************** Today I called and spoke to Brooke. She told me that someone had called and requested that the issue not be sent to our library. I informed her that no one had the right to do that. She said that she would send out the issue and we should receive it in 7 to 10 days. We'll see! I think we should continue to contact SI Customer Services (be sure to have your account number when you call!) until they correct this injustice.
