Here is the response we got from the publisher regarding the publication
change. Please see the quoted below. Basically nothing is definite yet
at this point. I hope this helps in your decision making.

At this time, this retrospective list of citations is all we can provide
with any degree of certainty. Our proposed publication calendar for 2007
has changed at least twice since January and may change again, so it

    I manage the journal collections for a major medical library
system
(Health Sciences Library System, University of Pittsburgh).  Because we
use
a predictive check-in system for journal check-in (meaning that we try
to
establish an anticipated pattern of publication for each title, which is

then input into the computer), I was hoping to find more information
regarding the apparent changes to your publication Patient Care.  My
institution has been a longtime subscriber to this title.  In the past,
you
appear to have published under a single title, "Patient Care," on a
roughly
monthly basis (12-14 issues per year since 2002).
    Now, however, it seems that you have split the title into
multiple
components.  I have so far identified four such components, all under
the
heading "Primary Care Topics In..."  Those four are:
    Neurology & Psychiatry
    Endocrinology & Cardiology
    Women's Health
    Dermatology.

    Unfortunately, I have been unable to successfully navigate your
website to
find publication information on these components.  Also, the publication

info on the title pages of the journals themselves offer no clues, and
appear to be referencing the old publication pattern:  i.e., it states
that
"Patient Care is published 12 times a year by Advanstar Publications..."

This was in fact how this title was published in the past.  Since I had
already received six issues by March for 2007, I don't think this
applies
any longer.
    What I am specifically trying to find out is:

    1.  How many issues of each of the above components will be
published this
year (for example, 6 issues of Endocrinology & Cardiology, 12 issues of
each component, or whatever) ?
    2.  Are there any other components under the "Primary Care
Topics" heading
that I haven't listed above?

    Currently, I am unable to make any of your issues available to
the public,
pending getting some answers to these questions (I prefer not to guess).

Managing access to information, we pretty much need to be able to
accurately describe what we are receiving for our patron-accessible
computer database.  I would prefer to get some kind of publication
schedule
from you, as opposed to just reacting as new issues arrive.

    Please excuse me if you are not the proper person to handle
this.  I would
be grateful to be put in touch with someone who could give me some
insight
into your new publication scheme.
