Job Posting: Serials/Indexing Librarian, Illinois College of Optometry Sarah Morris 18 Jun 2007 20:17 UTC

The Illinois College of Optometry Library has a position available for an
indexing/serials librarian. In addition to traditional serials functions,
the librarian spends the majority of his/her time indexing journal articles
on eyes, eye diseases, vision, contact lenses, and other topics related to
optometry and ophthalmology for our citation index, VisionCite. Because
PubMed does not index the majority of the optometric literature, VisionCite
provides one of the few ways to access these clinical and research articles.

Our library website is at *http://library.ico.edu* . VisionCite is password
protected but we would be happy to let you view it upon request.

Please contact Joann Depue, Human Resources, at *jdepue@ico.edu* , for more
information.
