Re: Full text articles from H W Wilson's databases Barbara Pope 13 Nov 2007 13:42 UTC

We don't depend on aggregated databases for providing full text. The
access to titles, as well as the degree of access, changes so much that
depending upon those titles to always be in the database is futile. The
database company may say they offer full text access, but it may be pdf
on one title and html on others. I don't for sure, but maybe the
publishers of the journals make the rules on what is pdf and html. The
only print subscriptions we have cancelled as a result of full text
access are those we purchased an online only subscription to or where we
bought a publisher-owned database, such as Sage Full text Collections,
American Chemical Society, and APA Psycarticles.
