Hello-
   Our library does binding of both theses and dissertations. The student is responsible for the fee and that  money is kept in a separate account, just for this purpose. We no longer require binding of copies for the library so the guidelines are pretty relaxed. I don't check the pages to see if they are in order or check for anything except the margins. I tell the students to have a 1" margin but if they ignore that- I still send it to the bindery. We bind very few these copies days and it takes hardly any of my time.

Our library does the thesis binding along with the binding journals.  This
is posing as a problem for us to provide this service to Graduate Studies,
because of the time and labor I have to provide in taking care that the
thesis is processed correctly.  What are your thoughts on this and do you
