Re: Fwd: problems - AnthroSource & Wiley - problems Ken Siegert 02 Feb 2009 14:08 UTC

Andrea,

Your notes from 1/9/07 are rather interesting. After doing a little
more investigating this morning, I found that there is MORE content
available for Anthropology News, directly from the Wiley website.
The AnthroSource site still shows the gap in coverage, but obviously
the embargo is in effect.

Also interesting is that we seem to have complete access to
Anthropology News on the Wiley website (I randomly selected 3 issues,
plus the oldest and most recent). But, this could be due to the
problems from the Wiley-Blackwell merger during Summer 2008. Last
summer, Wiley couldn't figure out how to fix our access, so they
ended up giving us access to around 1200+ titles, which were all set
to expire 1/31/2009. I think I'm getting my first headache of the
week . . .

I wonder how long Wiley will keep the AnthroSource website up and
running?
