Shared E-Resources Understanding (SERU) question Kontowicz, Pamela J. 08 Apr 2009 13:52 UTC

Has anyone used the NISO recommended practice SERU as the basis for negotiations with vendors of electronic resources? When we looked at the SERU registry (http://www.niso.org/workrooms/seru/registry/ ) we noticed a number of libraries have signed up to implement it. We are thinking about using it as the basis of negotiations with vendors and would like to know the experiences of others with it. Have other libraries have used this understanding as the basis of an agreement and if so, how has it worked?

Thank you in advance for your responses.
