Avoiding duplicates of e-books Kristen Fredericksen 07 Apr 2011 20:14 UTC

Hello all,
We recently purchased an e-book package from Cambridge University
Press, only to discover that we already owned some of the titles,
whether through other e-book collections or individual e-book purchases.
I realize this is a common occurrence with e-journal aggregators, so we
may just have to accept it, but have any of you tried to do anything
about it? For instance, have you negotiated a lower price for an e-book
collection based on the number of e-books that would be duplicates?

Thanks,
Kristen
