Dear Colleagues, We've already shared this information directly with James at Cambridge, but I wanted to share with the rest of the list as well. The EZ Proxy stanza for the e-Duke Books Scholarly Collection is T e-Duke Books Scholarly Collection U http://read.dukeupress.edu HJ read.dukeupress.edu HJ reader.dukeupress.edu DJ dukeupress.edu We're working directly with OCLC to get the stanza up on their site as quickly as possible. In regards to Shibboleth access, we and HighWire are examining the login workflow, with an eye toward improving the library user's experience. Thanks, James, for bringing this to our attention. If anyone has trouble accessing e-Duke Books content, or is using Shibboleth successfully for the collection and is willing to share details, please feel free to contact me directly. We want to do everything we can to ensure libraries are able to set up user access easily. Kim Kimberly Steinle Library Relations and Sales Manager Duke University Press 905 W. Duke uses Highwire to set up Shibboleth and proxy access and we have found that despite our Duke ejournals working fine, they cannot seem to implement any kind of seamless off campus access to the ebooks for our users. I wondered if anyone else out there had trialled or purchased eDuke ebook collections and if so have you experienced any problems with setting up Shibboleth access to the platform and did this get resolved? I would appreciate any experiences with Duke UP and Highwire anyone can provide. -- James Caudwell ejournals@cambridge team Journals Co-ordination Scheme Periodicals Dept Collection Development & Description Cambridge University Library West Road Cambridge CB3 9DR Tel: +44(0)1223 765 686 Fax: +44(0)1223 333 160 email: jwc44@cam.ac.uk ############################ To unsubscribe from the SERIALST list: write to: mailto:SERIALST-SIGNOFF-REQUEST@LISTSERV.NASIG.ORG or click the following link: http://listserv.nasig.org/scripts/wa-NASIG.exe?SUBED1=SERIALST&A=1 ############################ To unsubscribe from the SERIALST list: write to: mailto:SERIALST-SIGNOFF-REQUEST@LISTSERV.NASIG.ORG or click the following link: http://listserv.nasig.org/scripts/wa-NASIG.exe?SUBED1=SERIALST&A=1
