We have both Readers' Guide Full Text and Readers' Guide Retro. Students need these to find primary source material. For the same reason, we keep our older popular print magazines and periodicals that generally aren't available online, or are in collections that we haven't purchased. Hope this helps.

Subject: [SERIALST] Indexing older print publications

Hello,

We have older print periodicals of which the citations and content is not accessible to our patrons. We would like to provide online access to indexes for these older print periodicals. Does your library subscribe to the Online Reader's Guide Retrospective, etc. or do you weed your older periodicals instead?

We are curious how other academic or community college libraries manage their print collections. We would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Thank you.
