I am not sure why Christina McCawley receives an error message when sending
messages to SERIALST.  I usually get them only when sending messages to
LIBADMIN.  However, I have received them at various times with several lists
and I have never seen a satisfactory explanation.  It seems to have something to
   do with the receiving nodes, but I am not sure--can anyone offer a simple
explanation?
