We have had to stop accepting gifts of serials because of the lack of staff and
the lack of a room to sort and store for exchange.  Our previous donors are
very unhappy about this.  We have a wants list, but when I tell a M.D. we would
only like v.71 out of his run of a title, he is not interested in donating it.
I have had better luck going to their office and picking out what I want.

We need to rewrite our gift policy.  Has anyone else had experience with this
and how does your gift policy cover it?  Have you limited the type of gifts you
will accept?  Do you specifically state why you will not accept gifts?
