This is the reply that made me think twice about tossing the
Disney supplement to <Newsweek>:

I was away for a few days and just saw the message about the Newsweek
special publication on the Disney anniversary.  I quickly determined what
we had done with it here (SUNY Buffalo)--and found out we did not check
it in with Newsweek and are asking selectors if they want it cataloged
separately.  I can't imagine that anyone will say yes--except me, that is.
I am author of the recent book The American Amusement Park Industry: A
History of Technology and Thrills (Twayne, 1991).  I have to admit that
any info you can get these days on the Disney parks is useful and probably
will be cited.  Disney won't help researchers anymore at all, and won't
let people into their archives, etc.  They threatened to sue me if I put
any photos of the parks in my book (even my own personal photos).  Anyway,
I now have looked at the promo publication, and if I had it when I was
writing the book, I definitely would have cited the article on honeymooners.
I probably will cite it sometime in something I write in the future.  I did
use, in my book, a similar publication done by TIME a few years ago.  There
was a good little piece written by Ray Bradbury.  I hear the Serialist email
folks said "toss it."  Well, from a researcher in the field, I would think
about it a bit.  I have to admit, though, I doubt if it will get cataloged
here.  But I thank you, anyway, at least I have a copy now!  Over the
weekend, I was interviewed by Chronicle of Higher Ed. and CNN (!) at Six
Flags over Georgia on the topic of Amusement Parks, of course.  Imagine, a
librarian on CNN!  It was quite a thrill.  If it makes the airwaves, it won't
be till next Spring on a show called "Future Watch."  The Chronicle article
is supposed to appear before Christmas, however.  May generate some interest
in this Newsweek special promo thing.  I suspect Newsweek sort of disavowed it
because Disney paid for it--and a whole lot of money I bet!  Judy Adams
