SERIALS LIBRARIAN. George Mason University, a rapidly growing university in
the Washington, D.C. area, is seeking a Serials Librarian to provide technical
and public services to the serials collection, using NOTIS, LINX, and OCLC.
The Serials Librarian will work with liaison librarians on collection
development, supervise the serials check-in system conversion, and serve as a
member of the library faculty. The incumbent should possess experience with
serials, preferably with automated systems such as OCLC, NOTIS and LINX. ALA
accredited MLS is required and some supervisory and public service experience
is desirable. Salary $25,000-32,000, commensurate with qualifications and
experience; excellent benefits. Position available immediately. Deadline for
