SUMMARY:

     This program will present an overview of the serials claiming
process for periodicals.  The speakers will address the breakdown
points in the serials claiming process, identify responsibilities,
analyze and evaluate the process.  Presentations will focus on the
communication chain and problem resolution in areas in which
communications may breakdown.  Topics to covered include: changing
expectations; adapting to the current environment; different types of
claims; effective ways to claim; strategies and advice for handling
communication breakdowns.
