Subject: Selling duplicates of journals

Dear Serialst Subscribers/Readers:

Each year, after every binding season, we discard duplicate/donated
copies of journals. There are usually quite a few of these and it
seems such a waste to discard them all. It has just come to my
attention recently that there are companies/organizations out there
that will purchase one's old journals. Have any of you had experience
selling your old journals? Is it worth the time and effort to find
someone to purchase them? Do all the companies require that you have
a complete run, or so many years worth, etc.? I would like to know
about your experiences with these companies. Let me know who you
have dealt with as well as how the pricing system works. *ANY*
information would be very helpful. Thank you in advance for your
time in responding to my request!

P.S. I just recently purchased a copy of NASIG's *DIRECTORY OF BACK
ISSUES DEALERS*
