Hello all--cross-posted, excuse any duplication, please.
We are trying to locate a source for clear plastic shelf label holders.
Our periodicals are arranged alphabetically, and these holders, containing
our typed labels identifying each title, clip onto the steel shelving in
the Current Periodical Room.
The label holders measure approx. 1" H (the actual clip part is smaller,
maybe 3/4"??) x 4" long, and the lip of the shelving measures approx.
3/4" H.
We've checked Brodart, Demco, Gaylord, etc., but prices range $1.00-2.00
per each holder with no significant bulk order discounts. Our recollection
of the original order many years ago is that we purchased boxes containing
at least 100 holders at a much lower price.
If you know of a source, or are looking to find a new home for holders
you no longer use, please contact me directly, off-list. (Any size up to
7" long with a clip part of about 3/4" H should be o.k.)
