ACRL/NEC FALL CONFERENCE TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18, 1994 GORDON LIBRARY WORCESTER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS "THE ROLE OF THE LIBRARY ON CAMPUS: PARTNERSHIPS AND PATRONS" is the theme of the Association of College and Research Libraries, New England Chapter 1994 fall conference. Susan Martin, President of ACRL, and Director of the Georgetown University Libraries will be the keynote speaker. A panel representing students, administrators and faculty will present their views and expectations for the library as a central information provider on campus. Jerry Dube, Director of Information Technology at the the Unversity of Maine, Orono, and Paul Gherman, Director of Kenyon College Library will speak on their use of electronic media and the information superhighway to take education beyond the campus. The conference will be broadcast to the Unversity of Maine, Orono via Picturtel, and interactive television system, allowing for attendance and participation at a remote site.
