Keller named CEO of The Faxon Company

November 17, 1994 - The Faxon Company announced today the appointment of W.O.
Bill Keller as Chief Executive Officer.

In this key position, Keller will be responsible for setting strategic
direction, and providing the leadership and guidance necessary to ensure short-
and long-term growth for the company.  Keller will report directly to Mr. Bryan
Ingleby, Group Chief Executive of Dawson Holdings PLC, Faxon's parent company.

"His strong experience in operations, marketing and sales, and general
management, coupled with his past successes for returning companies to
profitability, will serve to provide a strong and healthy future for Faxon and
its clients."

Prior to joining Faxon, Keller was the Vice Chairman, President and CEO of
Solkatronic Chemicals in Fairfield, NJ, where he successfully assembled a
winning team, improved customer satisfaction, and turned the company profitable
after six years of heavy losses.  His past experience also includes: Vice
President of Marketing and Sales with Freudenberg Nonwovens and Vice President
of Operations for Dennison Company.

Keller earned his degree in international and strategic business marketing from
Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and holds a U.S. equivalent
of an B.S.M.E. from the Deroy Fachschule fuer Feinwerk Technik in Munich,
Germany.

Keller has served on the Board of Directors for the following companies:
Solkatronic Chemicals, Better Breathing Inc., Freudenberg Nonwovens, King
Instruments, and White Mountain Carbide.  He was recently referenced in the
U.S. Registry of Who's Who in Leading American Executives.

services to libraries and information centers in academic, medical, business
