The Mississippi Library Commission, a state library, is seeking to fill the
following positions:
Librarian III/Interlibrary Loan Coordinator: Responsible for the operation of
Interlibrary Loan Services. ALA accredited MLS and two years of
professional experience. Knowledge of PC-based cataloging systems and
interlibrary loan automated system is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills
are desirable. Starting Salary Range: $22,124-23,251 annually, depending
upon experience.
Librarian III/Grants Services: Participates in preparation of the state's
LSCA long-range plan and annual program; coordinates public construction and
technology program; monitor grant projects; tracks document processing and
expedites grant application process. ALA accredited MLS and a minimum of two
years of experience. Starting Salary Range: $22,124-23,251 annually,
depending upon experience.
Librarian II/Reference Specialist: Researches and fills subject requests,
assists in the development and maintenance of the resource collection,
performs databases searches and maintains Dynix Community Resource file. ALA
accredited MLS. Starting Salary Range: $21,372-22,458 annually, depending
upon experience.
