In addition to checking once a month, have your check-in person 'flag' a card that needs claiming attention. You can purchase little color flags that slide on the card, but paper clips work well too. Then your claimer can look for the 'flags' and know that these need attention. Good luck! *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Louise Diodato ________ Coordinator of Technical Services /\___/\ / ( 6801 N. Liz: One thing I used was: I don't know how your kardex check-in cards are, but ours had the month at the bottom where you could see what month it was without lifting up the individual cards, so I got hold of some red colored plastic clips and everytime I checked-in an issue I would move the clip to whatever month the next issue was due in. That way you could look down an entire drawer and tell at a glance what was overdue. Whenever I claimed an title I would indicate it with a blue clip. Hope this helps!! Janet P.
