Patricia:

UCSD is experimenting with putting the password information on a local
web page that is restricted to UCSD IP addresses. In the catalog record
we include the note:

 Restriction
Password available to users with UCSD IP addresses:
http://gort.ucsd.edu/hc/ucsd/reformaid.html

UCSD users can call up that page to get the password information.
(This particular one is for the title "Reforma", hence the file name).
You can see the full bibliographic record in our online catalog at
http://roger.ucsd.edu (search the title Reforma).

We don't have feedback on this approach yet since we just did it a few
weeks ago, but it seemed like a good idea, especially on our campus
where we have a lot of users logging in from faculty offices, dorm
rooms, etc.
