Thank you (whoever you are) for the time you put into moderating this list.
The XXXXXs Library Associations listserv is not moderated and we get an
incredible amount of junk mail (once even an ad for a porngraphic CD-ROM).

I appreciate your efforts.

In case others are wondering, there are three people who moderate
SERIALST. We are:

AND:
If you are wondering what we do, or what is involved in moderating
SERIALST, see the fall 1996 issue of _Serials Review_, "SERIALST
and the Global Serials Community: The Five Year Evolution of an
Electronic Discussion Forum" (p. 1-21). This article captures
much of the day-to-day saga ...

On some days, the care and feeding of SERIALST does require a fair
amount of energy -- that is why there are three of us! We think the
time involved in moderating has been and still is worth the effort.
We also appreciate the lively discussion and quality of content
in the messages our subscribers have sent us over the years. You are,
after all, what makes SERIALST what it is, and what keeps our jobs
as moderators interesting.

Thank you for your interest and participation.
