There is still time to register for the Placement Center
planned for the Third National Conference of African American
Librarians.  The 3rd NCAAL is sponsored by the Black Caucus of the
American Library Association and will be held on
July 31 - August 3, 1997, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Hours of operation for the Placement Center are Friday,
August 1, 11am - 4pm and Saturday, August 2, 10am - 5pm.

Although registration will be accepted at the conference, job
seekers and employers are urged to pre-register.  To request
forms (indicate whether job seeker or employer) contact:
