We do it the same way. These "irregular publications are a real
pain! It makes it very hard trying to predict these titles!!!

Subject: Mutation Research

We subscribe to this serial which is published according to a volume
numbering scheme that includes 5 sections (each section having its own
colour code and varying number of issues per volume). We have set up
check-in grids online according to the 5 sections:

MUT (green) will have 10 vols. in 20 issues, vols. 372-381
MUTNOM (turquoise) will have 1 vol. in 4 issues, vol. 382
MUTDNA (brown) will have 3 vols. in 9 issues, vols. 383-385
MUTREV (purple) will have 2 vols. in 6 issues, vols. 386-387
MUTGEN (lilac) will have 8 vols. in 24 issues, vols. 388-395

We are wondering how other subscribers to this publication have set up
their check-in records.
